Much has changed since I purchased a tiny resale maternity store in 1990 with bold hopes and no retail experience. We have moved twice and expanded exponentially, leaving maternity behind and adding cribs, crib bedding, furnishings, accessories, car seats & strollers to our infant clothing section. The times have changed and along with it your expectations, tastes, means and preferences.
Through all these years, 19 and still counting, it has been my goal and good fortune to grow with you, providing current product, attractively presented and priced. With the help of my wonderful staff, we strive to give you the best information and assistance to help you with the ‘oh, so big’ decisions. In short, we work to provide you, the customer, with an exceptional level of quality at a fair price.
I love BEAUTIFUL stuff! In the retail business, the saying goes, “If you don’t want to change, you just go away,” because the customer will go some place that does stay current with demand. I am always looking for new products, trends, colors, etc. We can’t represent the full gamut of what’s out there, so we select the ones we judge to have the highest level of quality with the best features. Sometimes that means we carry a well-known product and sometimes it means we believe the better product is a newer, less well-known one.
Safety is huge on our priority list and always tops with our car seats. We may be persistent about safety issues, but if we are, it is only because we care. Having gone through the process of becoming car seat safety technicians we are all too aware of the 90+% miuses of car seats in Arkansas. We love to talk about car seats. We’ll spend as much or as little time with you as possible if you have questions and concerns.
I love the challenge of buying products that you will love. When I hear people say, “I just love to shop here,” I think I must be doing something right. Market is nothing if not a lot of hard work, walking for days, looking for what will excite and interest our customers.
