My Grandmother was a fastidiously neat lady with a great eye for color. We would ride the bus to Downtown Little Rock and shop all day. I’m giving my age away here girls, but there were no malls and lots of other things we can’t imagine living without! There was 1 car per family and besides my Grandmother didn’t drive, so after a shop ‘til you drop day, we would collapse on the bus seat with weary feet and carefully selected purchases. She taught me about fabric color and quality. I have loved it ever since.
